Parking in the centre is paid on weekdays and spaces by the gazebo are few — it is simpler to walk there. The city has almost no congestion apart from the morning exit onto the M-03.
Leaving the city: Dykanka is 30 km away, Opishnia and Velyki Sorochyntsi 45 km each, Myrhorod 100 km, Kremenchuk about 110 km and Lubny 90 km. The M-03 runs through Poltava and is the convenient route towards Lubny; the district roads towards Hadiach are narrower and want more ground clearance after rain.
