Car rental for foreigners in Kyiv
What you need to rent a car in Kyiv with foreign documents: passport, licence, deposit, payment, and delivery. It’s simple; the process takes 15 minutes.
Foreign passport and national driver’s licence with Latin letters. If the licence uses another alphabet, an International Driving Permit (IDP) is also required. Age from 20 years, experience from 2 years.
Prices are in US dollars; the site has a switch for euros and hryvnias. Payment by Visa or Mastercard, cash on delivery, or bank transfer.
The deposit — $400 to $4,000 depending on the car — is paid at pickup and returned when you bring the car back with no damage and no fines. Full CASCO and third-party insurance are already in the price, and your liability is limited to the deposit.
Ukraine’s airports are currently closed; most guests arrive by train from Poland. We deliver cars free to Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi station, hotels, or any Kyiv address.
Possible to any European country by prior arrangement: we prepare a Green Card and power of attorney. Inform us when booking.

How it works

Catalogue with prices in dollars, rates by duration, and deposit shown on each card. Book online in 2 minutes.
- 2Manager confirms via messenger
We clarify delivery time and place, documents, and options. Prepayment is usually not required.
- 3Collect the car
At the station, hotel, or office. We sign the contract, record the car’s condition with photos, take the deposit (card or cash), and hand over the keys.
- 4Return the car
At a convenient location in Kyiv. We inspect the car and return the deposit if there is no damage and no fines.
Traffic rules you should know
- Right-hand traffic; seat belts are mandatory for all passengers.
- Speed limits: 50 km/h in cities, 90 outside, 110 on car roads, 130 on motorways.
- Daytime headlights are mandatory from 1 October to 1 May outside populated areas.
- Permissible blood alcohol level is zero. Penalties include fines and licence suspension.
- Children under 145 cm must use a child seat. We provide seats free on request.
- During martial law, a curfew applies: check current hours with the manager before night trips.
- Air raid alert: stop in a safe place and use the “Air Raid Alert” app with English interface.
- Fines for violations are paid by the renter; we send a copy of the fine via messenger.

Questions from foreign clients
If your national licence uses Latin letters (EU, UK, USA, Canada, etc.), an IDP is not required. If it uses another alphabet, an IDP is needed alongside the national licence.
