The 2020 Hyundai Sonata in white is an economy-class sedan with a 2.5-litre 180 hp engine. It is the most powerful sedan in our economy segment: automatic gearbox, five seats and rates from 25 $ per day on a long rental.

It is an everyday working car: driving around Kyiv, client visits, replacing your own vehicle, inexpensive trips into the region. The 2.5 petrol (180 hp) with an automatic gearbox and front-wheel drive uses 7.0 l per 100 km — more than our diesel sedans, but the engine is naturally aspirated and undemanding. Basic equipment: climate control, cruise control, rear camera, parking sensors, Android Auto / CarPlay, Bluetooth.

Rates: 55 $ per day for 1–3 days, 45 $ for 4–10 days, 35 $ for 11–25 days and 25 $ from 26 days. A month is 750 $ over 30 days. The deposit is the lowest in the fleet — 400 $ — paid when you pick up the car (card or cash) and returned when you bring the car back with no damage and no fines.

The price includes 300 km per day, pooled over the whole rental. Unlimited mileage for the economy class is 40 $ once; without it, excess kilometres are 0.15 $ each. KASKO and third-party insurance are included and liability is capped at the deposit. Delivery and collection are free in Kyiv and in Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, Boryspil and Bila Tserkva. The driver must be 20+ with two years of experience, and a second driver is added to the contract free of charge.

Questions and answers

Short term the Elantra: 50 $ against 55 $ per day. Long term the Sonata: 25 $ against 29 $ per day from 26 days. The deposit is the same, 400 $. The Sonata is stronger (180 hp vs 150 hp) and roomier.

A monthly rental costs 25 $ per day. Buy-out is considered individually by the manager — the terms and availability are confirmed when you book.

Nothing: delivery and collection in Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, Boryspil and Bila Tserkva are treated the same as Kyiv and do not change the rental rate.

Only drivers listed in the contract may drive the car.
Trips within Ukraine are allowed except occupied territories and combat zones. Border crossing is by agreement.

Prohibited: handing the car to third parties, using it as a taxi, racing or off-road driving, driving under the influence, smoking inside.
In case of accident, damage or malfunction — notify Apex Rent Car immediately.
