The 2020 Mercedes GLS X167 is a seven-seat exclusive-class SUV with a 3.0 diesel producing 330 hp. It is the largest Mercedes at Apex: seven seats, Nappa leather, massage seats and air suspension in one black body.

The GLS answers the brief of carrying seven people at S-Class level: seven seats, all-wheel drive, automatic gearbox, a 3.0 diesel with 330 hp and 9.0 l/100 km combined. The cabin has Nappa leather, massage seats, 360° cameras, a panoramic roof, a head-up display, premium audio, adaptive cruise control and air suspension. It is booked for family travel, delegation transfers and winter trips to the mountains in a large group.

Rates: 400 $ per day for 1–3 days, 350 $ for 4–10, 300 $ for 11–25 and 250 $ from 26 days. The deposit is 3 000 $, the same as the S-Class W223. Being exclusive class, unlimited mileage here is charged at our top rate of 150 $ per rental.

CASCO and third-party liability insurance, seasonal tyres, servicing and support during the rental are in the price. Mileage is 300 km per day pooled over the rental and overage is 0.5 $ per km. Delivery and collection in Kyiv and in Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, Boryspil and Bila Tserkva are free; another city costs 0.5 $ per km from Kyiv, minimum 50 $. Drivers must be 20+ with 2+ years of licence, and the manager agrees the terms for cars in this class.

The rest is class: the GLE is premium (250 / 200 / 160 / 130 $, 2 000 $ deposit, 100 $ unlimited mileage), the GLS exclusive (400 / 350 / 300 / 250 $, 3 000 $ deposit, 150 $ unlimited mileage) with Nappa leather, massage seats and air suspension.

The combined figure is 9.0 l/100 km, and more in the mountains fully loaded. The allowance is 300 km per day pooled over the rental, so for Kyiv–Bukovel and back (about 1 240 km) it is simpler to add unlimited mileage for 150 $.
