Rates: 110 $ per day for 1–3 days, 100 $ for 4–10, 90 $ for 11–25 and 80 $ from 26 days. The grid is unusually flat — just 30 $ between the first and the last tier — so a two- or three-day booking is not a penalty here. The deposit is 800 $, the lowest of all our Mercedes.

The price includes CASCO and third-party liability insurance, seasonal tyres, servicing and support during the rental. Mileage is 300 km per day pooled over the rental; unlimited mileage in the business class is 70 $ per rental and overage 0.25 $ per km. Delivery and collection in Kyiv and in Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, Boryspil and Bila Tserkva are free. Renters must be 20+ with 2+ years of licence and every booking is confirmed by a manager.

The engine is the same: 2.0 with 258 hp and rear-wheel drive. The difference is body size and terms — the C300 is rated at 6.9 l/100 km with an 800 $ deposit and rates of 110 / 100 / 90 / 80 $; the E300 at 7.1 l/100 km with a 1 500 $ deposit and rates of 150 / 110 / 90 / 80 $. From 11 days they cost the same.

The manufacturer's combined figure is 6.9 l/100 km on petrol. Fuel is not included: we hand over a full tank and expect a full tank back, otherwise refuelling costs 2 $ per litre.

Seasonal tyres are included, but rear-wheel drive on snow needs a gentler throttle than all-wheel drive. For demanding winter routes the business class also offers the all-wheel-drive Audi Q5, Audi Q7 and BMW X5 G05.
