The 2019 Land Rover Range Rover Velar is a business-class petrol crossover with a 3.0 V6 rated at 380 hp, all-wheel drive and 9.4 l/100 km combined. The black car with air suspension has the most recognisable design in our business class.

The Velar is chosen for Range Rover looks and performance: a supercharged 3.0 V6 petrol with 380 hp, automatic gearbox, all-wheel drive, air suspension and five seats. Equipment includes a leather interior, adaptive cruise control, premium audio, a rear camera, parking sensors, heated seats, LED headlights, Android Auto and CarPlay. It suits business trips, filming and travel around Ukraine.

Rates: 130 $ per day for 1–3 days, 110 $ for 4–10, 90 $ for 11–25 and 75 $ from 26 days. The deposit of 1 000 $ is the lowest of our three Land Rovers (the Discovery and Defender are 1 500 $ each). For comparison, the premium Land Rover Discovery starts at 200 $ per day.

The price includes CASCO and third-party liability insurance, seasonal tyres, servicing and support during the rental. Mileage is 300 km per day pooled over the rental; unlimited mileage in the business class is 70 $ per rental and overage 0.25 $ per km. Delivery and collection in Kyiv and in Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, Boryspil and Bila Tserkva are free. Drivers must be 20+ with 2+ years of licence and a manager confirms the request.

The Discovery is premium: 7 seats, 3.0 with 306 hp, 8.9 l/100 km, 100–200 $ and a 1 500 $ deposit. The Defender 110 is premium: 5 seats, 3.0 with 300 hp, 9.4 l/100 km, 140–270 $ and a 1 500 $ deposit.

The manufacturer's combined figure is 9.4 l/100 km on petrol: the supercharged 3.0 V6 with 380 hp is the most powerful Land Rover in our fleet. Fuel is not included: full-to-full, with refuelling by us at 2 $ per litre.

All-wheel drive and seasonal tyres are included, so winter motorways and mountain hotel approaches are no problem. For serious off-road work we have the Land Rover Defender 110.

Trips within Ukraine are allowed except occupied territories and combat zones. Border crossing is by agreement.

Prohibited: handing the car to third parties, using it as a taxi, racing or off-road driving, driving under the influence, smoking inside.
